The writing's on the wall if you ask me. Haas are in the mud at the back of the Formula 1 field. By far and a way the slowest car, and both drivers are rookies - and struggling. And if you ask me, I don't think the name is going to be in Formula 1 for much longer.
Here's why.
Go give uncle Aldas' take on this a watch n'all.

Maybe I can just see the future eh. Oh, and go give Aldi's video on this subject a watch n'all. noworld.info/video/video/nGnUd8x-pdfU3NU.html

  • The most possible reason why Gene Haas still wants to stay in F1 is that they have a deus ex machina coming up for the next regulations change next season. If it's not that, then they're waiting to sell to Uralkali. Btw, if Liberty wants an american team in F1: just bring Ford back!

  • I just remember growing up in America and it was always "AH, NASCAR BEST RACE HURR DURR".(Still doing it for Dale, though) Indy Car doesn't even touch Nascar's attention, usually. Nobody really talked about F1. I regret only recently learning about Niki Lauda and James Hunt in my late 20s and not much sooner. Let alone the modern field with Hamilton dominating. I hope it can really pick up in the mainstream.

  • TLDR: because he thinks they will. No proof, no circumstantial evidence, no conspiracy theory, just good old "I think so". What would be the motive for uralkali to buy the team? They wouldn't get more exposure than they are now. Would that help them from a technology standpoint? Is their owner a motorsports fan? Was it his lifelong dream to own an f1 team? You might as well have said ferrari should sell to ups because they had a shit 2020.

Maybe you referring to their respective companies wealth or something. Aside from all this, I'd also be disappointed if the only American team quits. I'd like to see them in F1 as a sustainable team. Hopefully the new rules make it that way.

  • Suprise ! When Haas first entered F1, I predicted they would last 4/5 years before giving up. They had some limited success early on when they were pratically a Ferrari B team. 3rd rate drivers ( in fi terms) like Grosean and Magnisson were never going to push Haas forward. And now they are about to give up ? no suprise there. American teams just dont have the staying power for F1, As private companies like Haas or major companies such as Ford ( 2000) F1 is mostly a European sport and long may it be so. ☺

Schumacher brings in some sponsors like 1&1 and has the Ferrari Academy background, so Ferrari wants to keep the seat.. And Mazepin has got a father. As far as the driver contracts go, and they said that they got multiple year contracts, Hass will continue racing in F1. The only option is without Gene.

  • There has never been a meritocracy when it comes to racing and yes mazepin did something stupid, but the fact that people just keep harping on it is just stupid, she didn't press charges. Why do you think that having oil money is in some way bad, having money is not bad, good for you if you do! Everything we use is a product of oils, whether in the materials such as plastic or more so the way we receive or products, even fruits and vegetables are harvested with gas/diesel powered tractors and brought to market in trucks or trains, OIL. Last, I don't think Gunther is doing bad, his team slumped, then covid hit. He worked with NO MONEY last year, and had an engine that sucked and he had no way of knowing whether or not the engine would be good this year, his call to bring on 2 rookies and put all of their wind tunnel time and money and design efforts into 2022 was a hard decision I'm sure but a smart one. He has brought in several new employees to help as well. Why would he bring in one driver when he can let both have a year to get used to this level, especially when you know your car socks and the engine may suck as well. You people act like paid drivers are something bad, like said, all these F1 drivers are paid drivers. Do you think a poor kid could race karts the leave Australia as a teen and go live in Europe?? Yeah poor kids unfortunately don't get to do that! Everybody still harping on Calums black eye, get over it, that was a while ago and atleast we know he takes this shit seriously. How come nobody is throwing a fit that Russell, a leader in the safety association could care less about if Valteri is injured and hit him, oh but mazepin is such a bad guy, hypocrites! Get over yourselves! Gene was honest about Grosjean, the man almost lost his life in his car, that played on his mind and instead of lying about it he told the truth. The only reason HAAS is taking a PR beating is cause of people like you who are beating a dead horse hoping to pad your ratings, and trying to insinuate that because Gene made a mistake which could've damn well been because of bad financial advise would mean he is a bad person or lacks on integrity is absolutely asinine. LOOK IN THE MIRROR, YOU SCREW UP ALL OF THE TIME AS WELL, WE ALL DO! If pricks like you, WTF1 and all these other NOworld wannabe journalists would quit going for the throat things would be better for HAAS, but if that's what you want to do then do it that's fine, just don't sit there smiling acting fake as hell like you like them.

  • *Unpopular opinion: No true F1 fan should miss that dogshit team. Why?* 1. They represent in the sport a whole continent (US) without chosing a single proper sponsor let alone manufacture their own engine (GM &/or Ford), offering literally nothing in the sport and it's development the rest have done so in the past and few of them still do. 2. They are now backed by a controversial corrupted Russian oligarch who has placed his incompetent (always weaker than his teamates most of his entire career), violent (punched Illot), abusive (groping scandal) son in a seat pretty much everone else deserved more, right after being sponsored by another scummy company (Rich). 3. Untalented, the only time they've succeeded as a team is when they used the 2018 fuel flow cheating Ferrari engine, not because of the talent of their whole team, subsequent years proved this by being always the slowest Ferrari powered team. Only talent in there is Steiner who is the only man making this joke of a team somewhat interesting.

Aside from that, most Americans would care more if there were American drivers in F1.
